As a part of one day workshop Mahaveer College of Ayurvedic Science organized a Laser Treatment Program on 6th January’ 2025 at its Hospital. Approximately 35 patients were registered for the treatment of anorectal disorders such as piles, fissure, and fistula. After detailed clinical evaluation and consultation, laser surgery was successfully performed on 5 patients using advanced minimally invasive techniques. In addition, surgical procedures for piles were carried out under the supervision of experienced specialists. All patients received appropriate pre-operative and post-operative care along with necessary medical guidance. The program ensured safe, effective, and patient-centric management of anorectal diseases using modern surgical modalities.

The program proved to be highly beneficial for First Year PG students, as it provided valuable hands-on clinical exposure, enhanced their understanding of anorectal disease management, and helped bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application. Students gained insight into patient selection, operative procedures, and post-operative care, contributing significantly to their academic and clinical skill development.
